Sauce Market and The Power of Networking - The Come Up TV Episode 4

They say it's not what you know; it's who you know. I would take it a step further and say "It's not who you know, it's who knows you."

This is so true because we:

  1. Know someone who has given a great opportunity they may not have deserved or was ready for because who they knew
  2. The people you associate with have a huge impact on your life results
  3. Connecting with peers and mentorship is one of the best ways learn new things.

When I learned about the Sauce Market Meet Up, I was instantly intrigued. I didn't know what to expect and the flyer had no pictures. But the idea of meeting with fellow camera creatives led me to believe this would be a great use of my time.

Turns out, my hunch was right. Not only did I meet some cool people, I learned tips and tricks from peers more skilled than myself. I left feeling motivated that I was on the right track.
